You can pitch a tent or park your RV     at a nearby campground. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's perfect for a one day trip. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so keep in mind that many runs in this state are very easy. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a large number of paddling spots. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Briefly about the general area: A river like this is too good to miss. Through the summer here at Black River, high temperatures generally get into the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's, and overnight lows at   Black River during the winter generally drop into the-10's.
