Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Michigan are easier than the national norm, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions     for lots of people. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the CR553 to Highway 41 section is one of them.
