that. This stretch of Little Iron River in Michigan is 7.5 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-III(IV) section of whitewater. This stretch has has enough mileage, good for a one day paddling trip. The campgrounds here at Little Iron River are pretty good.
There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. The beauty of the Gogebic Range is a great plus for this river.
