There aren’t any     hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. You can enjoy this stretch more if you take your time, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number of good spots. Briefly about the general area: The North Country National Scenic Trail offers hiking at its best. Through the warm days of summer here at Ontonagon River, high temperatures usually reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends   down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Ontonagon River are in the-10's.
