There are plenty of other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. This section of Ontonagon River East Branch in Ontonagon County is 7.5 miles long and has been rated as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. Whitewater
