The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Michigan are often easier than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that lots of rivers here are good for beginners. The wonderful Michigan scenery and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. This section is very short so no need to bring snacks.
