This stretch of Silver River in Baraga County is 2.3 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class III-V section of whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so better not forget that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy.
