Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. The beautiful scenery of Baraga County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Arvon quarry to Quartzite Falls section is one of them. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better
