This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's good length for a morning trip. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. The Eckbeck campground to Lake Superior section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this     state than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners.
