This section of Baptism River in Minnesota is 4.8 miles long and is a class II-V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. If you'll be staying in a hotel you're in luck, lodging is available very near the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Eckbeck campground to Lake Superior section is one of them. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop     paddle, good for a one day paddling trip. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near.
