The nature scenery of Cook County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. No shortage of good hotels, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This is the only paddling stretch along Cross River. This is a pretty decent length section, suitable for an afternoon trip. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often     tougher than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less manageable.
