If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Banning State Park to Sandstone stretch is one of them. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with not too many other rivers for that. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Minnesota is often tougher than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind     that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. This is a somewhat short section so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch.
