The nature scenery of St. Louis County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. This is a somewhat short section so you'll have to walk back to     the start over and over. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of places for that. There are no other stretches to paddle along Lester River than the Lester River Road to Superior St. stretch. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near.
