FS Road 424 to Birch Lake section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS II-IV 4 miles
The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. The nature scenery of Minnesota and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The FS Road 424 to Birch Lake
section of Stony River is 4 miles long and has been rated as a class II-IV section by American Whitewater. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming back for more.
