The Highway V to Highway MM stretch of Brewers Creek in Missouri is 7 miles long and has been rated as a class III section by American Whitewater. The nature scenery of Missouri and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Missouri are often more forgiving than in other states, so don't forget that many of the sections here are safe for beginners. The put-in location is a short drive from Farmington, please print out a copy of the road map further down
the page so you won’t get lost. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon trip. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. There are no other stretches to paddle along Brewers Creek than the Highway V to Highway MM stretch. Great exercise
and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. When you're paddling down a Ozarks river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
