This stretch of Carver Creek in Missouri is 1 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class IV section. If you're coming from Farmington it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. The beautiful scenery of Missouri and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. When you're paddling down a Ozarks river
like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. This stretch is very short so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. There are no other
sections to paddle along Carver Creek than the Highway AA to county road off of Highway AA section. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There's camping available near Carver Creek. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more forgiving, so keep in mind that many of the sections here are safe for beginners.
