The average Missouri whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. The beautiful scenery of Missouri and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Briefly about the general area: During the summertime highs here at Center Creek reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 80's, and winter nights come with lows in the 70's to Center Creek. Center Creek sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly September, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is May.
