The Highway 125 to county road off Highway M stretch of Finley Creek in Christian County is 15.7 miles long and has been rated as a class I section by American Whitewater. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The campgrounds here at Finley Creek are pretty good. Finley Creek doesn't have a lot
of paddling sections, the Highway 125 to county road off Highway M section is the only one. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter,
so why not pack your camping stuff too. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Missouri are easier than the national norm, so keep in mind that lots of rivers here are good for beginners.
