This stretch of Finley Creek in Missouri is 15.7 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I section. This stretch has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so pack your sleeping bag. The campgrounds here at Finley Creek are pretty good. The beautiful Ozarks scenery is an added bonus. find the rivers here a bit more manageable, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners. The nature scenery of Missouri and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. Finley Creek doesn't
| have a lot of paddling stretches, the Highway 125 to county road off Highway M stretch is the only one. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near.
Briefly about the general area: For the period of the months of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Finley Creek, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Finley Creek. A large amount of rainfall falls at Finley Creek; most of the rain falls all through March, and January on the other hand is the driest.
