The Off of Highway E section of Little Rock Creek is 1 miles long and it is classified as a class IV+ section by American Whitewater. The wonderful Missouri scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. The campgrounds here at Little Rock Creek are pretty good. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to     get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Missouri are often easier than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. This section is very short so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. The Ozarks scenery is wonderful. Briefly about the general area: Little Rock Creek is a good spot of normal rain; through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and January is the month with the least moisture. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's   to Little Rock Creek, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Little Rock Creek dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights.
