This stretch of Marble Creek in Missouri is 3.8 miles long and has been rated as a class II section by American Whitewater. If you're coming from Farmington it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down     the page. Marble Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the USFS Marble Creek Camp Ground to CR 427 section is the only one. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Missouri is often easier than elsewhere, so don't forget that rivers here are less demanding. There's camping available near Marble Creek. The wild scenery of the Ozarks is great. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. This is a short paddling stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one   stretch. Briefly about the general area: Marble Creek gets a normal amount of rain; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. Summertime highs at Marble Creek regularly tend to be in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Marble Creek temperatures fall to the 20's.
