The nature scenery of Marion County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. If you're coming from Hannibal it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. You can enjoy this stretch more if you take your time, so pack your sleeping bag. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground.     Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Missouri is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near.
