CLASS III-IV     2.4 miles
The nature scenery of Ste. Genevieve County and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more forgiving, so better not forget that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners. The put-in is not too far from Farmington, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room
before you come because it is a very popular destination. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. Whitewater paddling here in the Ozarks is a great experience. This
