This river system is full of great paddling sections, the Highway 72 to Millstream Gardens section is just one of them. You might be into whitewater
rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. This is a pretty short section so better bring some good walking shoes. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so if you're
not from around here don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The beauty of the Ozarks is a great plus for this river. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came.

at St. Francis River ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at St. Francis River dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
