Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Missouri is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're not from around here don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. The Silver Mines Recreation Area to Highway 67 section of St. Francis River in Madison Wayne County is 55.4 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I section.
