CLASS II     40 miles
The wonderful Missoula County scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile. A stretch of this length does require some preparations, perfect for a real wilderness adventure. There are a
few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while will have you coming back for more. There are nice comfortable
hotels here, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are not so many other good rivers for that around here.
