Briefly about the general area: At Boulder River you don’t see much precipitation; June is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Hay Canyon is near Boulder River and is a magnificent spot, and there's perfect hiking along the Upper Whitetail Park Trail. During the summer months highs here at Boulder River reach   the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Boulder River dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
