If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Montana you might find the rivers here a bit more manageable, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding. The Dearborn Canyon Road Bridge to Highway 287 Bridge stretch of Dearborn River in Cascade/ Lewis &Clark County is 29 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class I-II section of whitewater. Getting your paddling muscles
    activated and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Dearborn Canyon Road Bridge to Highway
287 Bridge stretch is one of them. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. There's camping available near Dearborn River. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
