you might end up sleeping in your car. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a pretty small number of paddling places. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so pack your sleeping bag.
