Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This section of Dearborn River in Montana is 29 miles long and is a class I-II section of whitewater according to American     Whitewater. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Dearborn Canyon Road Bridge to Highway 287 Bridge stretch is one of them. This section is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so pack your sleeping bag. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a pretty small number of paddling spots. Briefly about the general area: Dearborn River is a location that is relatively dried out commonly; the wettest month of the year is mostly June, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. Dearborn River is in close proximity to Spring Gulch which is undeniably worth a visit. Summertime highs at Dearborn River frequently tend to be in the 80's while overnight   lows are commonly in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Dearborn River.
