The wonderful Lewis & Clark County scenery and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. This is a short paddling stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. This is the only paddling stretch along Falls Creek. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with not too many other     places for that. When you're paddling down a Lewis Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so don't forget that many runs in this state are very easy. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Briefly about the general area: Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Falls Creek. Summer night lows plunge down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Falls Creek descend into the 10's. Not much rain falls here at Falls Creek; of all the months   in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
