Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Montana tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are less demanding. The beautiful scenery of Montana and the cool fresh water have people coming here. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a     short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you won't find many other paddling rivers. This is the only paddling stretch along Flathead River. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. Briefly about the general area: For the duration of the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Flathead River. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Flathead River.
