The Canadian Border to Blankenship Bridge stretch of Flathead River - Middle Fork is 58 miles long and has been rated as a class I-II+(III) section by American Whitewater. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a pretty small number of paddling places. Whitewater rafting and     kayaking spots in Montana tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding.
