The beautiful scenery of Montana and the water flowing gracefully down Flathead River - North Fork will make you feel great. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Montana you might find the rivers here a bit more manageable, so don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. |
You can enjoy this section more if you take your time, so why not pack your camp stove too. There are no other stretches to paddle along Flathead River - North Fork than the Big Creek to Glacier Rim stretch. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.
