This stretch of Grave Creek in Lincoln County is 18 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II section of whitewater. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has     a pretty small number of paddling spots. You can enjoy this stretch more if you take your time, so pack your camp stove. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The Foundation Creek to Tobacco River stretch is the only paddling stretch along Grave Creek. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while will have you coming back for more. Briefly about the general area: The Mount Marston National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Grave Creek reach the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Grave Creek dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights.
