The beautiful scenery of Montana and the water flowing gracefully down Judith River are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. This section of Judith River is 45 miles long and it is classified as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. Now this is a pretty long section, so better bring your camping gear along. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while will have you coming back for more. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. come because it is a very popular destination.
Briefly about the general area: Don't leave Judith River without first going for a hike along the Wagon Wheel Trail. Judith River gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most while February is regularly the driest month.
