The Danvers Bridge to Anderson Bridge stretch of Judith River is 45 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class II-III section. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Montana is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many runs in this state are very easy. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. A stretch of this length does require some preparations, so it looks like you will be camping out. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad
you came. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The wonderful Judith Basin County scenery and the cool fresh water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle.

the general area: Through the warm days of summer here at Judith River, high temperatures typically get into the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Judith River are in the 0's. Judith River is a location that is relatively waterless ordinarily; during the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. On a tremendous day at Judith River you can take a hike along the Wagon Wheel Trail.
