The beautiful scenery of Montana and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The Whitebird to Fireman's Point stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. On this section you do get     some distance, it's good length for a morning trip. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding.
