This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. The campgrounds here at Yaak River are pretty good. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The rivers for whitewater     rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. This stretch is mid length, suitable for an afternoon trip.
