Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. The beautiful scenery of Montana and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great     campgrounds nearby. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you won't find a large number of other spots. This is the only paddling stretch along Yellowstone River. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Briefly about the general area: Yellowstone River gets very little rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. Summertime highs at Yellowstone River usually tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's.
