The Upper stretch of Ammonoosuc River in New Hampshire is 4 miles long and it is classified as a class V section by American Whitewater. This is the only paddling stretch along Ammonoosuc River. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
