The Warren stretch of Baker River in Grafton County is 3.8 miles long and has been rated as a class V section by American Whitewater. The nature scenery of New Hampshire and the playfulness of the water beats anything. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. The river winds through the White Mountains and you get great scenery. This stretch is short so better bring some good walking shoes. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. The Warren stretch
is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here
in New Hampshire are often more challenging than in other states, so don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners.

For the duration of the summer highs here at Baker River get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Baker River. Hiking is a popular
thing to do around Baker River; Three Ponds Trail is a glorious local trail, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Hurricane Trail. Baker River is a good place of common rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month.
