The Sandwich Notch to Campton Hollow section of Beebe River is 5 miles long and it is classified as a class II-IV section by American Whitewater. The beautiful scenery of Grafton County and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. The Sandwich Notch to Campton Hollow section is the only paddling section along Beebe River. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This stretch is mid length, it's good length
for a morning trip. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in New Hampshire are often tougher than in other states, so better not forget that rivers here are less forgiving. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. There
are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. If you're coming from Laconia it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, as you can see on the road map further down. The beauty of the White Mountains is a great plus for this river. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are lots of good rivers for that around here.

River, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Beebe River. Going for a hike along the Ridgepole Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region,
and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Cascade Trail. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Beebe River; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
