If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're not from around here don't forget that the rivers in this state are less manageable. Whitewater paddling here in the White Mountains is a great experience. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations     you might end up sleeping in your car. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. This is a pretty decent length section, suitable for an afternoon trip. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. There are no other sections to paddle along Beebe River than the Sandwich Notch to Campton Hollow section. The put-in location is a short drive from Laconia, as you can see on the road map further down. The scenic beauty of Grafton County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. Briefly about the general area: A typical amount of rain falls here at Beebe River; August is when you   get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. And that's not all there is to do here in the White Mountains. Beebe River is right by the Ridgepole Trail; hiking along the Cascade Trail is magnificent fun. All through the summertime months at Beebe River highs are frequently in the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Beebe River.
