The Ledges section of Bloods Brook in Grafton County is 0.25 miles long and has been rated as a class V section by American Whitewater. The wonderful New Hampshire scenery and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. Bloods Brook doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Ledges section is the only one. Lodging is available near the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. No matter if you're
whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good places. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Lebanon, as you can see on the road map further down. This is a very short section so better bring some good walking shoes. Whitewater rafting
