  The average New Hampshire whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less manageable. The Ellsworth to Branch Brook campground section of Branch Brook is 3.3 miles long and is a class II-V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. The campgrounds here at Branch Brook are pretty good. The Ellsworth to Branch Brook campground stretch is
    the only paddling stretch along Branch Brook. This is a somewhat short section so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. The beautiful scenery of New Hampshire and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water beats anything. The wild scenery of the
White Mountains is great. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good places for that around here. There are some good hotels near the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
