This is a pretty decent length section, suitable for an afternoon trip. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. Not too
many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. When you're paddling down a White Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. This is the only paddling section
along Diamond River. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. The natural beauty of Coos County and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle.
