The starting point is not too far from Laconia, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The scenic beauty of New Hampshire and the water flowing gracefully down Glover Brook have people coming here. Lodging is available near the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. to Pemigewasset River stretch of Glover Brook in Grafton County is 1.9 miles long and is a class V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. This is a pretty short section so better bring some good walking shoes. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being
out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling spots. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. The White Mountains scenery is wonderful. There are no other stretches to paddle along Glover Brook than the Elbow Pond to Pemigewasset River stretch.
