This stretch of Israel River in New Hampshire is 4.7 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II section. There are some good hotels near the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This is a pretty decent length section, it's good length for a morning trip. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. The campgrounds here at Israel River are pretty     good. This is the only paddling section along Israel River. The natural beauty of Coos County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere.
