There are nice comfortable hotels here, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are some good sections to paddle in this river system, the Mascoma Lake to Route 4 section is one of them. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This is a pretty short section so better bring some good walking shoes.
