The scenic beauty of Hillsborough County and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good rivers for that around here. Lodging is available near the river,     but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. On this section you do get some distance, good for a one day paddling trip. The campgrounds here at Merrimack River are pretty good.
