The Marlborough recycling center to Otter Brook stretch of Minnewawa River is 4.5 miles long and it is classified as a class II-IV section by American Whitewater. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside New Hampshire you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so better not forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. Minnewawa River doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Marlborough recycling center     to Otter Brook stretch is the only one. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. Lodging is available near the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The beautiful scenery of Cheshire County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that.
