The starting location is a reasonable drive from Concord, as you can see on the road map further down. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. The beautiful scenery of Grafton County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. The Newfound lake to Bristol stretch of Newfound River River in New Hampshire is 1.5 miles long and has been rated
as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. The campgrounds here at Newfound River River are pretty good. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short
distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Newfound River River doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Newfound lake to Bristol stretch is the only one. The wild scenery of the White Mountains is great. This stretch is short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good spots for that around here.
