The natural beauty of Carroll County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in New Hampshire is often more difficult than elsewhere, so don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling spots. You might have to     settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. If you hurry you can run this stretch in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so why not pack your camping stuff too. The campgrounds here at Ossipee River are pretty good.
