The beautiful scenery of New Hampshire and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. The starting point is not too far from Keene, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The East Sullivan to Otterbrook Park section of Otter Brook in Cheshire County is 3.2 miles long and it is classified as a class III-IV section by American Whitewater. There are some good hotels near the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting a good workout and spending some
quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so better not forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. This section
is quite short so better bring some good walking shoes. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well.
