The Roxbury to Keene section of Otter Brook is 3.1 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II section. The scenic beauty of New Hampshire and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Roxbury to Keene section is one of them. This is a somewhat short section so it's not like you're     gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. No need to look hard for hotels, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in New Hampshire are harder than the national norm, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy.
